- Structural characteristics: A very important isolation element in a piping system used to completely seal the opening of a pipe, valve or equipment permanently or temporarily.
- Solid disk structure: This is the core feature of a blind plate. Unlike a standard flange with a central hole, a blind plate has no through hole, it is a solid, holeless disk. This solid disk acts as a physical barrier, completely preventing the flow of the medium inside the pipe.
